Another thing you could do to achieve the desired lomo effect is to reopen beautify on the bottom layer and use the color sliders to alter tint on your lomo or by browsing through the other effects in beautify you may find something nice

Thank you Marcello there are enough options to get a desired result, personally I like a Mystery pick bkg as you can be surprised at what looks good

Does anyone know of a tutorial for the Image Shine Script? I' really not getting the order of what to do the layers, or how to do them. All my attempts are failing miserably! I thank you in advance for any help.

Are you asking how to run the script on an object?

Yes, Wallace I am. When I try to run the script I realy don't get much but the word entered in the text. Then I start to get errors and the program freezes. I haven't been able to get far enough to know if the settings I've used are causing the problem or a conflict with another script in my program.

If you're using the script to add shine to an object, like a square or some other kind of object other then text. There wouldn't be a text option in the scripts dialog.

As Graechan suggests, please post us the menu-settings you're using.

After reading again the previous posts, I noticed a problem with errors if the "keep layers" box not checked. This is similar to what I am experiencing, along with not being sure I am using the program correctly. I am deleting the script, and will re download to make sure I have the latest release. I'll let you know if that solved the problem!

@ Pat625,
Did you install the Beutify plugin as well as the Image Shine Rel5.1 script?

I removed the existing Beautify and Image Shine and downloaded the latest releases of both and them. I now do not have any problems with the logo, but cannot get a background with the shine alpha. If I don't check layers, I either get error messages or the image fill also becomes the background and fills the entire image. I tried several combinations but never get the background.
