Dinasset, I have been trying to use your texture sharpen script but I keep getting the error "plug in noise generator not found". Is another script needed with this one? I have a noise plug in that came with Gimp and it seems to work.

It's an old plug-in I thought everybody has, sorry.

It's an .exe filter (you see it once unzipped), hence it goes under your plug-ins folder.
Once installed it appears under Filters/Noise

This filter is superb, Dinasset. I like it a lot.

But if you use it on a portrait you will...hate it a lot!
Excellent outcomes.

A little tip:
on Pals_12_JMM clean the sky, select the area, new transparent layer, fill it with a moderate gradient blue-white, adjust opacity.

Thank you very much for the noise generator plug in. It works without a problem. Maybe the one with my standard Gimp is too old? I like this filter very much. It really adds texture to an otherwise bland picture.

As you have yourself seen, sometimes there is a need for a post-processing action for the sky ("Buildings on Hill" for instance: select the sky area and blur or replace).
Church Interior is a very suitable subject (I use it on my photos, as well as on mountains photos).
