I haven't had any trouble with the script so far. I'm wondering if having Linux makes a difference, but I seriously doubt it. I've tried different settings.

Just ran it on LinuxMint 17.1

Error console is empty.

trandoductin I believe you misunderstood me. I was just saying the issue isn't linux. The script is working fine on my end. Just trying to help eliminate a possible source of the issue.

I installed the font and it is a characteristic of the font. If you have two lower case s's together it automatically does the change.
