Fantastic results, Marcello. Thank you for an excellent emap. :pengy

Rather than using stroke from LayerFX, I used a different approach to give me a really clean edge. This technique uses the original anti-aliased text to give you a perfect stroke. ;)

1) Create text on a transparent layer and make it the color you'd like the stroke to be (I used black).
2) Alpha to Select and shrink by the width you'd like the stroke to be (I used 4).
3) Run BRL from the Alpha to Logo menu.
4) Make visible the full copy of the original text layer BRL placed at the bottom

Now you have a perfect stroke with really clean edges. :cool

Marcello that is mind blowing.
And I'm off to try both of those. Thanks GnuTux.

Thanks for the quick reference SysTemX. :cool

That technique should work with any script that operates on a selection, you'll just need to duplicate the layer you want to stroke before you select. Logo Toolbox and Bling Text Logo both use this method to create their stroke layers..

Thank you Marcello. I looked for Alba Mater and only found Alba and Alba Matter. None of them have that fancy design like the one you used in your post. Was it the BRL script that produced that design?

Yes. It was the emap Marcello created that produces the cool design in BRL. I used it on Round2 - Depth 12 or lower, depends on the font.

Well, I could have been looking forever. I thought it was the font. Thanks Tux. That makes a very beautiful design.

@Molly - my error alba matter font was at ref 565 ; GnutTux is right!
important when you run BRL set the bevel-Slop options: ROUND2 BEVEL
and the contour: DOUBLE RING and in the Spheral Emal the grabbed map!
I find that with other settings the result is not good!

I did it with exact the same settings and Font. I don't know why there is so much black but the Darla color map I have is huge. I just downloaded it the way it was in the post. It did turn out quite pretty though.
