I imagine most people know about this but for anyone that might not I posted a link to it. It's optikverve Labs, they offer a utility called virtual photographer that's very useful. You can get a stand alone image editor or a plugin for photoshop/gimp. I've used the plugin for a long time and fond it well worth the download.

I've tried virtualStudio before, and hated it, cause I could do everything it can in Gimp, plus I wasn't a fan of it only running on Windows.

Here's a screenshot I took of it back in 2007.

I've use Virtual Photographer off and on for several years. I had installed the stand-a-lone program too and it did a good job running many PS filters including Impressionist, but not all PS filters worked. When I upgraded to Win7, I did not re-install the stand-a-lone (the 8bf still was fine and kept them and still, off and on, use it). Still, can't beat the price (i.e., free). :)

I've has the 8bf for a long time, I just grabbed the stand alone last night, I had always thought it would cost something. It's a nice little utility.
