When I put the file Resynthesis in my plugin folder I found also FILL WITH PATTERN SEAMLESS py (it is under EDIT menu).

Here are some tests that I made:

FIRST COLUMN – Image filled with pattern in normal way
SECOND COLUMN – Image filled with pattern using Edit>Fill with pattern seamless
I hope that somebody is interested

I think the brick one is a bit messy, but still it would be nice to fill a large area with one seamless pattern instead of a bunch of little patterns.

I have that plug-in, but unfortunately, it doesn't show up in my edit menu. It must be ignored by my McGimp.

On OSX the "executable" bit of the file holding the plugin must be set.
