I am requesting You fellow scripters, who behold the powers and patience for coding.
What I would like, is easy creation of multiple, even +100 layers. These texts would be single words or short phrases, but I would like them to be scattered across the canvas randomly. It´s quite a job to duplicate, re-type and place a text layer to a different position one by one.
Even a script that would do the random placement alone would be a great help.

Do you mean rotated and different sizes (or NOT rotated and NOT different sizes? Also the amount of fonts used controls the layer count.

Without rotation or different size. But if they are additional bonuses it does not matter.
Thanks for help, I´ll check that one out if it´s useful for my task.

edit: It would be just what I searched, but no matter what setting used only 1 iteration and BG under a group.
(1.2v, Gimp 2.8.10 64bit, Win7 64bit)
