Export Layers 2.2.1 [plugin update]

Members from time to time ask about how to export layers
This plugin from khalim19 seems to do everything I'd want, and has now just been updated

Features:

uses native dialogs for file format export procedures to adjust file format settings
uses layer names as filenames for the exported images
supports layer groups and optionally treats them as directories
can optionally export only layers whose file extension matches specified file format
can use file extensions in layer names as file formats
can use layers with names in [square brackets] as background layers

Changelog
2.2.1, November 10, 2014
* Images in RAW format are saved with '.data' file extension instead of '.raw'.
* Image type is now preserved (if file format allows it) instead of always using the RGB type.
* Renamed "Use image size instead of layer size" to just "Use image size" for the sake of brevity.

SysTemX I always try to keep track of any script or plugin updates because they usually address any bugs from former releases

I'm running version 2.8.14 of GIMP and downloaded the update, but whenever I try to use it, the dialog screen pops up with a blank screen and spinning cursor then says pythonw.exe has stopped working. When I click OK, I get a GIMP message saying Plug-in crashed: "export_layers.py" and the path then tells me to restart GIMP.

Any thoughts? I redownloaded 2.2.1 and reinstalled it, even deleting the exportlayers subfolder to make sure there wasn't a bad mix of files, but it didn't fix the error.

It was working before, so I'm not sure if it's an issue with the GIMP version or the script, but I was wondering if anyone else can confirm its working on this version. I'm on Windows 7.
