Graechan, I downloaded G'MIC Logos script from Gimp Scripts this morning. I couldn't get it to run at all, no history, no errors.
Linux, Gimp 2.8.14, G'MIC 1.6.3.1
/odinbc/.gimp-2.8/scripts
├── Gmic-Logos-presets.gmic
├── Gmic Logos.scm

Edit:
Well now it's working. Previously it hadn't work after a Gimp restart only. I restarted Gimp again, updated G'MIC filters, matched the default script font to my Gimp default font. Like magic it worked (FYI, It works with any font). I don't know why but all is well now. :coolthup

Odin Thanks for testing in Linux it was a battle to keep the Samj filters in the script but thanks to Jontait2 and David they have survived

Gmic 1.6.5 has broken Gmic Logos again. Message is Error: ( : 1) Procedure execution of plug-in-gmic failed on invalid input arguments and Gmic left in inconsistent state. Appears to be same filters as last time.

Yes, Kimba, I've already addressed this problem in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=12532
Waiting for Graechan to test and update on GimpScripts...

The Script was updated but 1.6.5.0 has broken it again maybe time to destroy script forever

Graechan : why that ? The script is working perfectly with G'MIC 1.6.5.0. The only change I've made is replace the line :

        (gmic-presets-filename (string-append "@{-path_gimp}" DIR-SEPARATOR "scripts" DIR-SEPARATOR "Gmic-Logos-presets.gmic"))  ;*JT*

by
        (gmic-presets-filename (string-append "${-path_gimp}" DIR-SEPARATOR "scripts" DIR-SEPARATOR "Gmic-Logos-presets.gmic"))  ;*JT*

And everything was working as expected. You have a very good script here !

EDIT: By the way, I say it works because I've tested all the different proposed presets, it's just not one or two that works. All presets work.

This filter doesn't work properly for me in Gimp 2.8.16. I'm using Windows 7 64 Bit.

The selections that don't work are Flowers, In the Bushes, & Hallucinogenic.

Yep, Gmic Logos is broken again in Gimp 2.8.16 and Gmic 1.6.8. I also can't make Rod's Pop-out text or Reptile skin scripts work. I don't know if the problems are related or not.

My feeling is you are not using GIMP-2.8 version?
My scripts do not require G'MIC to work.

Please post any errors on the thread topic.

I will be sure and get them in my email this way. Thanks!

Probably just a PDB call or two that need to be changed. :bigthup

Sorry Rod,I didn't see your instruction to use a transparent background layer. They are both working now.

I'm using the latest version of gimp on windows 7 and Gmic Logos and several logos within the script don't work.
They are: Text in the Mist, Crayon+Hair Lock, Deform+Hair Lock, Relief Light+Hair Lock, Turbulent Stencil, Hallucinogenic, Graffiti, In the Bushes, Flowers, & Sierpinski Text. Will there be a fix for this?
