Hello all.

I am searching for a special script or plug-in, that was introduced here, as far as I remember.
I d not know it's nameanymore, but it made an effect like a cross filter.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks in advance.

Hatti

Taking a wild stab at what a "cross filter" might be, perhaps the following...

Thanks, but no, thats not the one I meant. it is a filter that makes the
unsharp parts of an image shiny. I don't know, how to explain.
In german, the (hardware) filter is called 'Gitterfilter'.

A "Gitterfilter" is apparently a star-burst/cross screen filter, although I've never heard it used to make the "unsharp parts of an image shiny"

Before and after with a Hoya CS filter:

dinasset: thanks. Almost. Looks good. I think, I have to have a closer look at gmic.

paynekj: Yes, thats it. Is that image a photography, or is it a script/plug-in artwork?

Thanks to all for looking.

They are photographs. I thought it might be useful to illustrate the real-world effect so I pointed my camera out of the window.

I can't get close using Rodilius, it's picking up too many points and giving them all equal size. It also doesn't give the prismatic diffraction.

Why not just use GIMP's built in Sparkle filter. :)
