Hi,
Thanks for your kind words.
Sorry for the many orthography mistakes in the plug-in new text. Forgot to check the dictionary!
While not my priority too many orthography mistakes impact the usefulness.
So I have reloaded 'ArrowsCreator' perhaps now too verbose!

Hi,
The text in the label window is longer now, but should be more useful than before.
So pass to something else now.

Thanks, this is a very useful script for me.

@Serious Tom
You are welcome.

@Rod
I recognize the arrow but not the tail circle!
It should be something like this which are the labelling arrows from 'ArrowsCreator-3'.

Hi Rod,
"Yeah i just colored in the circle and added my own text. Does the new version add text?
:)"
Have added too, the photo background, but not to the arrows (the product). :)
This new version don't add text per say in the arrow circle, but at most two characters (label like 'a:') from the active font (alphabet, dingbat and etc.).
Now it goes smoothly if the character predicted is the one accepted and it start with the character equivalent to 'a' in the font like in my preceding post. The next prediction is the following character.

Hi,
Was not aware of the script 'RMA_label_points.scm' by 'RobA' pointed to by 'MareroQ'. This good script has given me ideas for labelling in 'ArrowsCreator'.
The results ('RobA' is not responsible for any mistake), for 'Labelling arrow' in version 0.3.5, are available at the beginning of this thread.

I noticed adding anymore than 1 character erases all characters. Why not make it available to add more than one character per label? Also i would like to have the text not merge down or have that availability.

Hi Rod,
A label is not explanation but identification for an accompanying text (its usually under the image) and two characters are sufficient for that.
Your idea of short cutting it, in my view is not a good one.
Your suggestion for keeping a text longer than two characters with the text layer has merit; if you keep it out of the AC_group while the plug-in is running.
The attachment gives two ideas that I had from the 'RobA' script;
1) another two series of rigth prediction are ilustrated by the two rigth arrows, this add to the 'A', 'a' and '0';
2) surrounding the character to isolate it from the environnement.
Also the 'é' is a 'unicode' character it's equivalent to two ASCII one, the next is 'ê' with the added 'e' make three so will be rejected.

Hi,
This added resuming for the labels too and implement Rod text-layer saving if it has: label + separator + text, in ArrowsCreator.
After a 'Labelling arrow' with a sufficient tail circle click on the 'Next element' the label window appear, select the 'Text tool' and mouse click on the proposed label that you may change to another label, the separator is the two chars ' :' .
After entering the text (probably the why) bring back the label window with a click on the task-bar no-name GIMP icon then two clicks on button 'Yes' for Windows. See the text-layer at the end of the layer stack.

This version 0.3.5 is available at the beginning of this thread like before.
Edit: make the text-layer saving more dependable for Linux by treating the windows differently and corrected a couple of bugs (2016/10/03).

Hi,
Should be the prime time version 0.3.5!
In the attachment there is another example of what you could do with it. Here is the superposition of three arrows, which have the same starting coordinates, on the same layer with labelling of the last.
The active 'AC_label b1' text-layer mention: 'those buoys delimit the beach nautical area'.

This version 0.3.5 is available at the beginning of this thread like before.

Hi Rod,
On my Windows 7 with GIMP-2.8.18 (J. Simončič build) I don't have that problem. Weird it is!
Your running Windows 10 with what GIMP?

Windows 10 with GIMP 2.8.16 64 bit.

I removed the arrows creator folder with the config file and the arrows creator python file, restarted GIMP and same error window. I installed Arrows Creator 2, restarted GIMP, same error. Then i restarted the computer and it went away. :rofl So maybe i just needed to restart.

Seems to work best if you remove the folder and the python file then re install the python file that has been updated and then re start GIMP. This throws the extension dialog back up to choose your menu spot and rebuilds the folder as well. Very nice plug-in Rob!

Rob you have done a tremendous amount of work on this plug-in and it is greatly appreciated.

Thank you! :bigthup
