Just out of interest even the previous version 0.3 might be difficult to find. This from the Internet archive. The last thread entry of that snapshot, dated 17 Feb and snapshot as shown March.

Go ahead and upload the zipped newest version again Rob. Or better yet submit it to GimpScripts.com if you wish. :)
Thanks!

jazzon: You're welcome and I have an interest in the thread about progress-bar.

Rod: like you, I think all the parts are there so 'GimpScripts' is a possibility, except for the fact that it will not work well in GIMP < 2.8.14 and didn't intended to make it!

rob_brz1 If your interested in the progress bar thing then I have good and bad news. That method apparently is flawed inside GIMPS source code (unconfirmed as flaw but noted as a bug by a dev on the mailing list. Could just be not yet implemented.)

Good news is there is an alternative method within GIMP. AN article and tutorial on that one will be up soon. I am currently tweaking it to remove all the bugs, and have a better coder examine it for 'properness' before I post it.

jazzon: Good news indeed for the GIMP's progress-bar comprehension, looking forward to it.

Hi,
After some time, I have revised it.
So ArrowsCreator version 0.3.4 is now available at the beginning of this thread.
+improve: the configuration info and its management by doing an automatic 'touch' now,
on the plug-in during configuration.
(Note: unable to use 'Ctrl+x' on GIMP-2.8.18 Windows for text entry?)
+include the index of the restricted pattern, used for the default FG head-fill,
in the configuration file so you are able to choose a more 'unusable' head-fill pattern.
(Default = 4 is the index of 'Blue Grid' on my system).
+handling of the user error at the beginning of function 'update()' is probably neater,
for a missing image or 'AC_vector'.
+in general: re-factoring AC-0.3 mainly because of previous changes.

The post doesn't say how to call up the script. I forgot to mention that I'm using the recent version of gimp on windows 64 bit.

Kind of but my gimp lists the script under Script Fu>Arrow.. not Arrows Creator and it's a py file but I guess I have it in the wrong place. I have it here: Program Files>GIMP 2>lib>gimp>2.0>plug-ins
