I have been unable to locate the source files to freshly compile..
You can still download the original source from here:
http://www.zenthought.org/category/tags/gimpHowever, the source code needs a patch in one of the files, as described by JamesH in this thread:
http://www.gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f ... =30#p24121.
I have attached a ready-patched copy of the source for you to use if you wish. The source is in a folder suffixed "-jt" and the "version" string shown in the Procedure Browser reads "2007-09-30 Patched by JT 13-6-2015", but the files retain their original names.
You will also need the "libsuitesparse" library
development package (as described by Mahvin in the previous thread
http://www.gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=839)
On linux I just did:
apt-get install libsuitesparse-dev
And then the usual:
cd /the-folder-where-I-stashed-the-source/colorize-gimp-jt
make
make install
It compiled without error (just a few warnings about maybe-uninitialized variables) and ran first time.
If you're using MinGW/MSYS to compile for Windows, you should be able to use the package manager to fetch the necessary library and then build the same way.
