When I try to compile the plugins it says I need these two files:
libgimp/gimp.h
libgimp/gimpui.h

Did you try to locate those files on your system, O?

I would have thought the compiler would have found them. Just in case I did a search and they are not there. They are not available in the repos either.

Give these a whirl, O.

They were in /usr/include/gimp-2.0/libgimp/

(I apparently thought I didn't succeed in uploading, so now there are two zip files , bleh!)

This is strange. I looked for the libgimp folder, found it and both files are there. I did a search for the files and they didn't show up. So now I don't know what to do. I certainly don't want to over-write the files in the folder.

Well Rod, I even copied and pasted your code into a new one. I get this error when I run it.

The script says this: "The edges of each patch are disguised using the 'Sharpen Feathering' plug-in." Is there a sharpen feathering plug-in somewhere?

Found this link: http://www.logarithmic.net/pfh/textureops

All i am using is the texturetiler plug-in and the scm script.i just untick feather when the dialog pops up.

I used to have it but because it didnt work i deleted it.Now if i use the scm script i just need to untick the feathering option and it works. If i leave it ticked it creates a black layer with a floating patch layer. :)

It works fine without the sharpen feathering for me anyways.

It may not work for Windows, but it certainly works in Ubuntu. I use feather sharpening just fine.

Yes, in a c file. It has to be compiled with gimptool. Not sure about Windows zip version, if there is one.

According to my Magick Crystal Sphere may work on gimp 2.7, but the MCG show probable future never something certain.(and in case merit will be not mine..)

@Lyleik i was just thinking to wrote you a PM ...but ...why private ?

i know you still use several neolitic release of gimp for some cool plugin that will refuse to work with more recent version..

Maybe you can share your list of favorite plugin deserving a resurrection ?

Again no promises also because don't depend on me...but you never know...if there is some jewel maybe ... :wizwand

I would love to see some old Plug-Ins revived I have never even heard of :D
I am sure there were some cool Plug-Ins for early versions of GIMP, anyone happen to know what the first GIMP looked like?
