Is there some type of plug-in to get the Dave Hill effect? Or does anyone know about anything similar?

I think that Dave Hill, Dragan also, works hard their pics previously with lights, model(s) and background composition.

You can follow in Gimp the steps of this PS tut perfectly.

If you want to get the effect only with G'mic follows Tom Keil's one
