IMO the colours are good on both, depending on the taste

Dinasset: Do you do any prep on your image before using your filter? I ask because when I ran the filter with defaults it looked different than yours.

defaults include "True" on Stretch Colours: do you leave that default or do you set it to False?

edit: also important: did you reinstall it from my post #8? the original post (#1) had a bag on the resizing procedure, pls verify.

I must have the latest as it has the shorter dialog box. I was certain that I had downloaded it. I never took notice as to Stretch colors so I will check on that. I left my emaps alone. Do I need to put them all in one folder now?

Diego consolidated the emaps into there own folder. If you downloaded his latest, you can remove the emaps that are under their own directory name directly in your .gimp-2.8 folder, Pat. :)

Pat,
also the post on #1 had already a short parameter list, thus it's better if you re-install / replace CrystallizeN filter by getting the filter from #8, I suspect yours is not the last one (#1 COULD create wrong colours effects, Issabella detected it and I corrected the bug)

Dinasset: I rechecked. Have the latest CrystallizeN from post #8. Did re download it incase there was a problem. I have not put all the emaps into one folder. Will it work OK if I leave them in their own folders as stated originally?

I didn't move the folders Pat and it seems to find them OK.

Pat,
having the same version of the filter as I have, and the emaps as I have, you should obtain the same outputs I get (last check: Mod_LCS: if you do not get errors during the run leaving Stretch Colors to True, you use it it as I do)
run the filter again with the original image you posted and I used, with defaults

Dinasset: I did this on defaults this time. I believe it is about the same as yours now.
Thank you for your help. :tyspin

wow, very glad you got it Pat!
Now you may play -if you want- with top layer mode (and opacity) and get other nice outcomes

that procedure is part of Gnutux Bevel Reflect Logo
Check whether you have for any reason dropped it from your scripts.
If you have it, open it in Notebook++ and look at line 601
(define (script-fu-ml-bevel-reflect-logo-alpha
