As you know, I had pending also a procedure which makes use of the new Garagecoder filter (wiremap, under Testing, on G'MIC).
Now I've completed the steps and I like to post also this one.
Two different ways of getting wireframed images (and GC is still on the way to improve it, as he said...).
It's always nice to have choices...
So here it is
(again, it makes use of my ancillary filter modLCS)

Enjoy (hopefully)

EDIT: filter has been removed then reinserted (amended), please redownload it (sorry)

edit2: GC changed his filter wiremap: I did a quick update only to take into account the presence of the new parameters.
Later on I will evaluate better if I have to take advantage of them and modify my flow.

a little comparison: both filters run with defaults (except for asking Color back)

using Lyle style:

Wow! Both are amazing new filters. Well done you guys. :)

Had to refresh filters in G'MIC to get the filter to work (gcd_wiremap)

Sorry I must confess to letting this slide  , when I saw you and lyle managing fine with 3D elevation I started getting other filters done!

If you have any ideas/suggestions/bugs please say - the two things I've thought of so far are allow render over transparent and use colour from original. I can work on those tomorrow if not today.

Nice results by the way :clap

nice to hear from you, GC, I guess your filter can become a standalone one (no need for additional filters to come in) if you add those two features you mentioned as well as more attention (if possible) to the contours (this is in fact the reason I added a layer with effects from Engrave)

Issabella, Those were all very nice. Dinasset & Lyle have come up with some really neat scripts!

Dinasset - tried your garagecoder wireframe filter just now and recieved this error message -

Image

I have your Mod_LCS filter installed in same 'plug-in' directory.

Issabella - I like your images and wanted to make some too ... just not yet though until I get the plug in to work!
