I remember it. But you are a master and you adjusted it quickly. A pleasure for me.
Lyle, Thanks to you too, as you did the first tries, no easy at all. :tyspin

because it's an "ancient" way of doing mosaic (which I like a lot), why not to try with an ancient "image"?

couldn't it be on the pavement of a Roman "Villa"?

Wow! posted for just a few hours and what beautiful creations you have all made.

Issabella: Beautiful as always.

Lyle and Dinasset: You two should collaborate on programs more often. Getting to be quite a team!

Thank you very much Dinasset and Lyle. I'm sure that took a lot of work!
Issabella: Your images are beautiful and well chosen. Thank you for your efforts with this filter.

It seems to me that you can't just open an image and run this filter to create a mosaic?
When I run this filter on one of my images.
The results look nothing like what Issabella and the other have produced.
Maybe I'm missing something?
Can someone explain how this filter is used?

Wallace, all I have had to do so far is adjust Bright/Contrast a little bit.

Wallace: You must also have RobA;s mosaic tile helper script to help run the filter. Do you have that on your computer?

Yes.

Edit:
I got this error...
Image
That's a funny error?
I only have one image open,
as anyone can plainly see and there's no "Dot Layer" present.
There's only one layer that I can see.
:puzzled

I don't understand either.
Just open an image (RGB*) and run the filter
