Looking for someone to compile and test a c plugin for me. It was finished some time ago. Just never thought about releasing it. I use CodeBlocks on 64bit windows. Don't know how to do the 32bit version. Also it needs a name. It does the same thing as Photoshops ZigZag filter. Don't think I can call it that. Suggestions would be welcome.

Adding a compiled version of it. Note this is not an official release. 64Bit only. Test, name suggestions please. Temporarily named ZigZag.

plugin is similiar to math-maps pond filter but improved

if we had the 'c' file to look at then a 32bit plugin may be compiled

So here is the code. It needs to edited to meet gimps formatting standards. I also use an older version of GTK.

Tested for Gimp 2.8.16 and 2.9.3 - works well.
Suggestion - the effect on a new layer?

Compiling. After gimptool-2.0 got a not uncommon error from gcc Needed -lm tacked on the end of the gcc commands.

If there are any 32 bit linux users remaining, plugin zipped and attached

Decided to name it ZigZag just like Photoshop. Cosmetic code update.

Recompiled to large preview-64 bit - Tested in GIMP-2.8.16 64 bit with windows 10 and it works excellent here. Thank you. :bigthup
