The quad symmetry multiplies your memory size by 5 (your original image plus 4x...). So thing get really big very quickly.

Nice results, Wallace and Kimba. :bigthup :coolthup I find Wallace's one very innovative. :bump
When I play with this filter I resize to smaller its size, but not on fruit pic. I started in a square of 225 size. On the swam one I did it smaller and continue the steps.

I have tried this script, but I don't get the Symmetries option that is listed. Under Fx-Foundry>Layer Effects>Apply Mirrors. It does something similar. I still have had no luck finding the Symmetries option.

That serendipty effect once again. Accidentally clicked GMIc>continuous droste on a wire frame pattern I was making, liked the result though and ran Ofnuts symmetries - quick and easy ...

so I did another one ...

Nice but looks very pixellated at full size, did you upscale it afterwards?

No. Camera is only a point and shoot and most of the photos taken with it look better at 50%

Hi Ofnuts.

In Paint.Net exist filter Mirror Over Line.
Is it possible in Gimp the symmetry along the path?

Not with the current code, that just uses vertical and horizontal flips.
