My path-to-shape script of yore has been rewritten(*), augmented and received an extensive documentation. See ofn-path-to-shape.zip on https://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-p ... s/scripts/

Have fun.

(*) now possibly contains more functional programming that the whole of the Gimp registry :)

I downloaded the plugin. I didn't delete the old one. There are some new features when I when I right click the path and go down to shapes. I wonder how I can find documentation.

I was going to ask the same thing! I need some instruction. I'm still struggling with paths! Trying to learn though.

For the documentation there is a whole "doc" directory in the ZIP, with a nice .html and plenty of images...

I found it easier for me to follow if I have instructions all together so I made a PDF file.

Looks like my ISP is stopping me from getting to certain sites. Cant reach sourceforge even through Google and another site. I can get plenty of other sites so I assume I am being blocked.

The Zip is 620K. Of this 3K is the script, the rest is the doc, with plenty of images. Please give it a go.

I get the feeling this is going to become one of the most important tools in my toolbox. Brilliant work.

Happy to hear this, but surprised you weren't using path-to-shape (the former version) already.
