Hi ladies and gentlemen,
Rod just published the version 2 of my last filter.
What's new:

- removed those prerequisites which currently are available only under Windows
(if the user is NOT running Windows, otherwise those are still there; the filter checks whether the user is running Windows or not)
- added an option to use as BG either the cartoonized layer or the original layer or both
- added an option to have the embellishments active either fully (as in v.1) or partially or not-at-all
- fixed a bug in the frame dimensions calculation
- fixed a bug in the preservation of the original BG (it was cartoonized too)
- fixed a bug in the stretching ancillary routine

Hope you enjoy the new feature.

If someone NON-Windows user can check whether it runs OK, I will be grateful.

As usual, the big part of the tests (in Windows only, unfortunately) has been performed by my friend Issabella; she will soon post some of the outcomes.

a) let only original BG and do not use embellishments

b) let visible both cartoonized and original BG, use low embellishments

another comparison:
a) (default) BOTH BG and LOW embellishments

b) ONLY ORIGINAL BG and FULL embellishments

I think you have now the possibility to create stained glass mosaics in the style you prefer: original BG and no embellishments.
Give a try (when connected)

Either you wait for a Partha release with the required used filters compiled in McGimp, or you may try to install this new version 2 and check whether you get it run: neither cartoonizer.exe not MLBevelReflect.exe are used when a non-Windows user is running it, both functions replaced by std possibilities (G'MIC and pattern overlay). Give it a try if you like so.

Nice results, Dinasset. These are much my style.

Bokeh is a standard filter of G'MIC (see attachment),
Which realease of G'MIC do you have? Mine is 1.6.9.
I know that some previous release had problems with Bokeh
