Trandoductin using SF-OPTION "Shape Type" '("Circle" "House") may be better than toggle as it allows for further shapes to be added

:coolthup I was going to suggest this option to add more shapes also. Thanks Tran! Can't wait to see more shapes for this one. :)

Looks like you had some fun creating this one Tran. I wonder how hard it would be to create an arbitrary object to text and actual have the text outline the object as opposed to embedding it.

example below:

Image

Just found out that it's called a calligram. :)

I don't know if this will help; have a look at saulgoode's, SG Warped Text script.

fit inside the a four-point “Bezier patch” is already hard...to fit inside an arbitrary shape is even harder.

Yes; do recall Saulgoode's efforts, Odin, but, as Tran eluded to, using an arbitrary shape (container) is a much harder thing to do. Other programs, like Pingotec (Rod's our resident export with that program) is the Cadillac of programs to create these, but still, no harm in requesting it. ;)

A short change of direction is that the object layers aren't evenly spaced along X axis

Trandoductin while the text-layer was resized for the text the image was not, this prvented your selection for the shapes being completed correctly, hence the fill did not go outside the image boundaries
Image
could you create your selection and bw-layer after your text and image resize is completed

Graechan,
Okay I am not what you mean by doing bw layer afterwards because i need that layer there to merge down the single letters onto it.
So I added calculations to resize image width to fit shapes if shapes are outside of boundaries.
Please try latest version (in post #1).
Here are samples when shapes are outside of image width boundaries (I only calculated for width assuming people already have height larger than a shape and will contain the shape).

When the left and the right of shapes is outside image width boundaries.

When the left of shapes is outside image width boundary.

When the right of shapes is outside image width boundary.

My bad rather than changing the image size at the start of the script could you calculate the number of words hence circles and space size, and if it all is greater than image size then reduce circle radius and try again until the correct radius size is found

but then specifying radius would lose its purpose.
