Actually i should only find how to prevent a combination number 4 that would not look nice, and clean the code following David suggestion

What do you think of the new options ?

1) somehow i am tempted to let just the first of the second message...but basically o to not complicate too much the dropdown menu ,( no problem for the code that is ready for all variant) and because the first is the most different

what you think? you want see on another image ?

Also the dropdown menu would become more complex and cryptic :

"None","Automatic","Automatic + Contrast Mask","Automatic + Contrast Boost","None + Contrast Boost","Manual Controls"

instead adding the just the first that i belive the most interesting

"None","Automatic","Automatic + Automatic Mask","Manual Controls"

that to me look so more clean and clear...somebody would miss the other 2 options ?

thank O
I think this filter is nice also because is simple so i think better avoid too much and too criptic options

So i am going for add only "Automatic + Automatic Mask,

So the dropdownlist will be "None" ,"Automatic","Automatic + Automatic Mask","Manual Controls" ...

the other 2 effect i did show may be obtained simply running "contrast swiss mask"
with or without the boost option checked on the final result

I like, I like! Very much.

Original image here. I used unsharp mask on it because it was a bit blurry.

Image

I set the inkwash layer to Value mode. I like the delicate, watercolor look to it.

Nice addition to G'MIC PC! Should also make for a nice detail layer mode set over the same image.
I grabbed it up and will test after i get back from the pizza place. :)
Kids are hungry.

i need a bit of HELP
more exactly i need a host for a file as this http://pastebin.com/MmdeG0Gf.

Host should allow direct access (read only) to the file (not to the page)
and i will need access to edit the file
see http://www.flickr.com/groups/gmic/discu ... 311582761/

BTW
I see also Mahvin and Rod interested to play with gmic filter codes, and i think other may follow:
Somehow i like the idea to have my own channel but why don't start also a collective Gimpchat repository ?...
Maybe will be no much at start ...but you never know how much bigger may grow

I'll host it, PC. I have plenty of space. I've offered you FTP access before, I can even create a sub-domain specifically for it, although it will include mahvin.com.

Thank a lot Mahvin
the file is now on
http://pastebin.com/download.php?i=MmdeG0Gf
but the access is given for the page not for the file

Basically if my source is enabled in gmic, everybody refreshing filters should be able and will access to the file, as happen now for the gmic_def file hosted on sourceforge

PC, I'm not sure what you mean. I can host your updates, create a sub domain for it, for instance, photocomix.mahvin.com, give you access to the domain so you can FTP your changes, etc.

It will remain for as long as you wish it to.

Creating the subdomain now, it takes a few minutes. I'll send you the password and username for FTP access as soon as the process application finishes.

Yes, he did :) Finally it succeeded to set up an external filter source. That's great news, I'm looking towards your new filters from GimpChat !
Thanks again for all your support on this project.
