Your 'Silver and Glass Font' is really wonderful. I will definitely use it a lot in the coming years.

'Wood and Rounded Screws Issa' is also really metallic.

'Amethyst' is also very very good.

I collected this wood font from pixabay. Adapted them in size and corrected some of the letters because They had an incorrect and inclined position.
So, here you are if you like it. :)

There is no reason the font XCF file wouldn't open in GIMP-2.8. GIMP-2.9 however is a different story.
