I collected this wood font from pixabay. Adapted them in size and corrected some of the letters because They had an incorrect and inclined position.
So, here you are if you like it.

I am really disappointed to see the following error message for the fonts which I have downloaded from your dropbox.

There is no reason the font XCF file wouldn't open in GIMP-2.8. GIMP-2.9 however is a different story.

Got some inspiration from your wood with screws so I created brass with screws (and brass without screws).

I finally finished making my first font!! It works well for me. I hope it works well for you. If you have any suggestions to improve or something needs changed, please let me know.

Thank you Dinasset for your comments and using the font. It did take me a very long time to do this first font, as I was not very sure of myself the first time, had to redo things at times, and worked slowly because of that. I feel much better about it now. As usual for GimpChat, people helped me with the questions I had, (Rod, Issabella, Tin).

Pat625 your space layer should be named space.png not .png

Graechan, you can also use " .png". (That is a space before the .png.). I did try the "space.png" first but I kept getting an error that it did not exist. Worked well when I changed to " .png". I dont't know why.

Friend Pat, I added a bit more room just on the space.png than you gave it. It works alright now. What do you think?
