I checked out the GAT tools, but the gat tool doesn't allow for "RELATIVE" loading of guides from file. It just loads absolute values.
So I wrote a script that gives you option to load using "RELATIVE (percentage)" method or "ABSOLUTE (pixels)" method.

Thanks Mr. T for this very essential add-on. But where is guide-file stored in gimp so that it can be copied for future use?
