I have revised both of these filters to solve some of the problems that various users encountered when using them. There are no new effects but hopefully I have made life easier for people in the process.
The files:

The alterations

Translucent Text Effects Version 1.03 and Metallic Text Effects version 1.01
Replaced LayerFX Bevel and Emboss plugin that caused problems with Bevel routine adapted from Script-Fu Chisel or Carve script
Adapted python script to allow a number of captions to be used with the same image
Tidied up generally and removed all channels after use
Added option to Merge All Text Layers - on by default
Added (slightly) more descriptive layer names

Example 1 shows three captions all created in the same session and eyeballed into position.

Example 2 shows the layers generated by the plugin.

Just glad to get the monkey off my back - for the time being at least - and to enjoy the forum.

Issabella that just sums up why you are the artist - simply beautiful - I would have added more and more - ending up with a dog's dinner.
