 Post subject: Extrude Active Layer with Active Path script for GIMP

There are variety of scripts that extrude.
But I thought i make one that allows you define a path to extrude and it uses the active gradient as you extrude.
and you can specify start brush size percentage.
In the sample below I bump-mapped my white text first before using script. I left the bump mapping out so users can be creative before applying script.

75% brush and simple bump map on a bluish text. Time to render 32 seconds

Corel Draw has such effects. Excellent.

For MR. RJKD
xcf file of result of a trial for the above script. File has got only three layers.

Result was very dark and I was also disappointed but then I changed the Value curve to the lighter side and things started to become clear.

Gradient used was perhaps 'Incandescent'.

I wish it could be useful to you in some way.
