I'll check, I'll be right back!

EDIT
-----

Zero01
Can you please exceed the value of 10 in each column?
Just to verify, that I did not get the error by having 32 columns by 32 rows!

I keep getting this error I do not know what it means!
An error occurred running python_fu_kp24_build_map
- ValueError: invalid literal for int() with base 10: ''

Damn my bad luck !! :gaah

Luckily, I only have 1024 files to check! mmmmm

Yes Ray, I tried it with (in fact) 34. As I had limited time to rename files I just did 0x0.. 34, 1x0.. 34 and 2x0.. 34.

Have you been putting the exact text in the correct field I wonder?

I called mine all "Map_#x#".png so in the 'Tile prefix' field I typed: Map_

see here

giving me:

Good luck !

Thank you very much for taking the test!

Maybe I have Gimpfu.py in poor condition? :hoh

This is what I keep getting, and it's not very normal, since I've created some test images, just like you and it always tells me the same thing!

I see you have the plug in located in the GIMP2/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins, try putting that plug-in in the "UserName/.gimp-2.8/plug-ins/" folder.. that might be the answer, best of luck again Ray!!

Zero01, lol, my computer is playing life with my patience !!!

Nothing, it does not work for me! (And that, I want to use this script with all my being) hahaha

You can send me your Gimpfu.py file?
Is in the direction:
C: \ Program Files \ GIMP 2 \ 32 \ lib \ gimp \ 2.0 \ python \ gimpfu.py

And thanks again!

I use x64bits Windows 10 Pro, hopefully not that, which I doubt very much!

Well, no problem, when I first saw your question I was already trying to do something along the lines of using "Inch Guides" to help put the individual tiles in place, but this was still time-consuming so I didn't get very far with that lol... I'm glad paynekj created the plug-in because I can see it would become useful for many little art project I have going - so I'm very thankful to him for that!!

I'm also using 64-bit Windows 10 Pro, and it seems to work well, not sure what the issue could be.
Hmm.. not allowed to upload .py files unfortunately, maybe you could try re-installing GIMP?

Maybe someone with more knowledge on the subject could shed some light on the problem.. we need this to happen Ray :)

I agree, I am very grateful, paynekj!
So much, although ... I could not enjoy his "Script", ArgHhHhh

Thanks a lot, "paynekj"
Also to those who have participated, I would not have imagined here speaking alone, and solving this myself, with the little rigged that I am!

EDIT
-----

Wow! I do not know what happens in this machine or in Gimp, well Zero01, I thinking, there are always alternatives, you can upload it as (.Rar .Zip .Text)

I can unzip, or simply change the format's name :)

And if to shed light on this, it should happen rather, since, because of so much trying to distract me, I have done this:

Please have someone report it to your site :)
My contribution!

I'm convinced you have a bad file name there somewhere.

What is the full path to the directory where your files are?

Try this... I've attached a zip file with four images in. Please extract them and try running the script on them. You should get this:

If you still get an error I'll get you to modify the script to debug where the problem is happening.

Kevin

Kevin ... I hate to admit it, but you're absolutely right!

Not only, I have tried its folder of images, and it works perfectly, I also created another map of 4 columns x 4 rows, in versions: 256x256px and 512x512px ...
And also worked to perfection!

So, I only have to check, the small amount of, 1024 images of the map,
(Damn it, my destiny)

Really Kevin, I really appreciate everything he's doing.
And if someday you need something from me, do not wait ... I'll be reviewing images yet!
This is last, just kidding

IT WORKS!! :coolthup

Okay, I'll summarize:
Check all names! (okay)
Check column and row numbers! (okay)
But ... while trying to convert the folder with the 1024 images, I was wrong!

They could only be two things:
1º that had Xnview open in turn, looking at the images. :hoh
2º that is in a folder that can have restricted access (it is the folder of a game) :rasp
I would say they are both, if that's the case!

Congratulations Kevin, I did not get to the minute to process the 1024 images!
This damn "Script" is a machine! :yes

Look at the image, by the way you can see the increase at 4.35% Zoom!

I'm with what Rod says, this "Script", has potential when recomposing a map,
and with some improvements, I do not want to imagine!

About this thread, for me it is solved!
But if you want I would like to collaborate, to improve it, if possible, we can continue checking the code " paynekj " :paint
