Working great on my 64 bit Ubuntu 10.04.

Sorry Windows users, bootchk doesn't have binaries for Windows, yet.

This is true.
Meanwhile though Partha has been compiling some plug-ins so i wonder if he could grab that src and compile it for windows?

i didn't understand why bootchk didn't add a link for the Win binary that ,referring to what he wrotes , are working well.
i don't really see the need for a installer when is sufficent move everything in a plugin folder to install

Anyway it seems that the level of telephatic skills is raising and raising here on GC,
i will love 32/64 bit version compatible with gimp 2.7.x, but for this i have the sensation that also Partha telephatic skills are growing more and more, maybe something is already boiling...

When I woke up this morning, thought I heard voices!! :) [just kidding for the humor deprived!! :)]

Anyway, I downloaded resynthesizer from github.com. it compiles cleanly on gimp 2.7.3 64-bit. My next move is to compile the 32 bit gimp-2.7.3 before tackling all the plugins.

Thanks,
Partha

This is a good one also. I like the smart enlarge. Didn't seem to lose any of the quality in the enlarged image. Keep up the groovy good job, dudes.

Like Willy's raindancers! [For those not in the know - that's similar to cats and dogs].

OK; posted this one at the Registry, but maybe someone here might be able to answer my question as well w.r.t. the new Resynthesizer:

OK; liking some things and not liking others. I use to be able to select the outside parts of an image (say the outside parts were white) and then run Resynthesizer and those parts would be filled with stuff from the inside of the image and that doesn't quite work that way anymore (did this to creat seamless textures on occasion). Also, why the need for both Resynthesizer and Resynthesizer GUI. If Resynthesizer GUI is needed, then how do I access it (don't see any drop down menus to access this). Just some questions or misunderstandings. Otherwise, heal seams to work fine (main concern but that has been relieved). :)

I kept the old resynthesizer around just for that reason, as I could not *find* the gui. Plus there are two scripts that use Resynthesizer - Texturize and Rob's Fill Pattern script. There might be a few more I have't come across just yet.

Rob's Fill Pattern has a python equivalent with the new version of Resynthesizer Rob (works quite well except if your layer has an alpha channel, it won't fill inside those areas; weird. lol). Another caveate with the python version of Rob's pattern fill is that it won't use the current selected pattern like what the default is for the SCM version (i.e., you have to choose what pattern you want to use). I also see slighter quicker response (only slightly but still noticeable) with the new version of Resynthesizer. Don't understand how to use the gui so maybe bootchk can explain it more. Looks like both versions of Resynthesizer (my old version should be current, but it was named Resynth.exe) can co-exist and it appears that the old version will trump the new version (though both show up in the menu) and doesn't appear to hurt the python scripts so they are probably calling the correct version (new version) of Resynthesizer. Still, the old Resynthesizer is slower then then new from what I tested so far and would like to know if the new version has a check (don't see one) to determine whether to use targer from the edges or the insides. Just curious. :)

You may found all the scripts based on the (old) resynthesizer here http://www.box.net/shared/86l3vj3meg

and were all included with (the old) Res and integrated in the same menu in the portable 64bit gimp 2.7.2 from Partha, that include also all the other plugin on the same author, texturizer omogenizer,

something else raccomanded by lyle w3as also compiled for gimp 2.7.2 64 bit by partha and the link posted...hu to tired to search now. posted here on GC in one of my recent topic in a reply from Partha

I didn't try yet the bootchk version so i can't comment about
