2 of the previous 3 but at the minimum density (7) to simulate posterization
(the other one did not come out good).

note that if you like real posterization this is NOT the correct filter to use, because it always applies smoothing to the colour areas, so they are not "flat" in colour.

Here are my outcomes with a preprocessing with your filter Drawing fantasy. I used it with the same size of the original and always with medium colors parameter.

Very good combination of filters. BTW this should be typical with these kind of filters (small and/or ancillary).

Excellent portraits, you found the suitable parameters for the source images. "95396d79a51" deserves an entry in an album !

Issabella and Pat very nice outcomes! it seems that filter works very well for portraits.

Here is a try with a statue. As a preprocess I used the Samj's skeletik that works fine in the GMIC 2.03. After the Water pastel on 70 areas it's near a golden effect. :jumpclap

Today I tried to mix waterpastel layers with another filters, so the pastel is at the preprocess. May be in first place ? here is a try :

original is a windmill photo :

the outcome is colourful, as you can see in the sky. But there's no transformation in the structure.

So I used Animicule's filter as a first step, then pastel effect and a stencil effect on the top layer.
