Dinasset, where did you download the ACE plugin and the Whitebalance stretch2 plugin? I have a copy of each and did not have trouble previously but with this script they are not recognized. If I state no to using both, the script runs. If I state yes to either one, I get errors.

If you have a 64-bits system here a copy :

if you have a 32-bits system I suppose you should use the version on Gimp registry http://registry.gimp.org/node/11729
The WB2 is published in GIMP Scripts & Plug-ins above: http://gimpscripts.com/2016/12/whitebalancestretch2/
(it works on both systems)

Great original images and I love the tone mapping. The only downside I see is that making them animated (original and then tone mapped) you lose some of the beautiful color detail. Awesome work!

Dinasset: I still cannot get the gimp ace or White balance to work. I get errors for the gimp ace stating there is no libgimpwidgets-2-0.dll and to re install. I have re installed several times without any effect. If I can find it, where should I install it?

Do you run a 32bits or 64bits system?
In the second case I can try to help you, in the first one I hope someone having 32bits system can help you.
In any case it could be useful for old plug-ins in .exe format (like ace) to create a specific folder and add the link in Gimp preferences.
It surprises me more than you can't get WB2 running, it's a python filter as all my last ones; did you download/install it where you have my other python filters, in the version 2 as pointed in my link at #24?

and: are you sure of that name of the .dll for which you get the error?
Google seems to say that it pertains to Total Commander (?) ...

One of the most common suggestions is:
- rename your pluginrc file (Pat/.gimp-2.8/pluginrc) to something like pluginrc_saved
- restart gimp (it will recreate pluginrc)
Sometimes it solves problems (at least for WB2 it could).

Having in mind PhotoMaster's opinion I find that he is right, I post the original and result. :)

Issabella, PM talked about having the outcome animated (original+tonemapped), your last one is not animated; so you decided not to use any more the animation technique, am I right?
Probably it's a matter of image (colours) compression.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Issabella, can you help Pat? If I remember correctly you are running a 32bits system

That is correct, Dinasset. I don't want to have any faded colour in the result. :)
Pat and anybody who needs this plug-in having 32 bits system. I post the one I have and it works great.

Thank you Dinasset and Issabella. I have a 64 bit system. I did the rename of the pluginrc and now everything seems to work, the WB2 and gimp ace. I do not know why.
