That looks like a really cool script. I love the panel effects it produces. Thanks Tran and Wallace. :hi5

When running this script I have an error message indicating script script_fu_drop_shadow is missing. See attached. I can't find this script. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Bob

drop shadow comes with GIMP.
Do you have access to Filters > Light and Shadow > Drop Shadow... ?
If not then your GIMP install is missing it.

Thanks Trans. I was using Gimp 2.8.18 and drop shadow wasn't in the menu. I uninstalled 2.8.18 and downloaded 2.8.22 from the Gimp website and installed it. Drop Shadow still doesn't appear. See attached. I have a portable version of 2.8.22 and the drop shadow is on the menu. A mystery.

Bob

Check .... Edit > Preferences > Folders (expand it) > Scripts >
check those directories
mine are
C:\C:\Users\Tin\.gimp-2.8\scripts
C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\share\gimp\2.0\scripts

the 2nd folder should have a bunch of scripts, one of which is drop-shadow.scm (which comes with every GIMP install i ever used).
If your preferences don't point to those folders that could be the problem.

That solved the problem. Thanks very much Trans. When searching for the script on my PC I was looking for script_fu_drop_shadow instead of drop-shadow.

Thanks again.

Bob
