So, it seems this one works "alla prima".
Maybe I'm slowly learning how to do the modifications...

Re my post #38. I was in error typing Gimp version 2.8.22. I am using Samj 2.99 for your new filters and have not experienced any problems. I will try AutoHatch G299 today.

The one posted this morning was something "extra", sort of a play on the std hatching filter.
This one is an existing 2.8.xx filter ported to 2.9.9 (which, BTW, was the first one used by a new member today! thanks).
