Hi everyone,

I made two scripts. One for sharpening an image and one for a b&w conversion. You can download them form here:

Place the scm-file in the scripts folder and the py-file in the plugins folder of your GIMP installation. They will appear in the 'Filter' menu under the name 'Vincent' (after restarting GIMP), but you could change that in the code of course.

The B&W filter is a bit strong for everyday use:

(btw, you can save settings for the ChannelMixer and Levels...)

The sharpen filter has a low radius and sharpens the noise as well. Of course you can make that a parameter but then this is just a preset for UnsharpMask.
