But that's the difference between 2.8 and 2.10.
same method on 2.8 shows that blend from top to bottom produces identical top and bottom.

Ahh..My fault, I was under the delusion that the top and bottom sections were solid.

In Gimp 2.10 try turning the gradient blend color space to Linear RGB

That's seems to have solved the problem for if I am doing it manually.
But I still don't know how to solve it in script calling since the script already calls for linear settings.

Oh I think i know what's wrong... I am using a deprecated method...i'll try to call new method that gets affected by set-context-gradient* methods

because it's deprecated in 2.10 it doesn't do what it does in 2.8...So What I did was i added code to detect gimp version (pdb.gimp_version) to execute code for that version.

One of our moderators made some suit brushes. (Could have been a tube brush too [with the heart, spade, diamond and club]) I don't have them anymore either :(

I got some error messages with version 7 of playing_card.py

But with comment out line 141 it works now very nice.

   elif version[0:4] == "2.10": #2.10 detected
          pdb.gimp_context_set_gradient_blend_color_space(1)
          #pdb.gimp_context_set_gradient("FG to BG (RGB)")
          pdb.gimp_context_set_gradient_fg_bg_rgb()

If trandoductin is still here.
Do you think it is possible to change the script to get output like this?

Hi Andsa.

Did you design yourself? Nice.
TinTran takes orders on its own website:

It is made with a template from a friend,
and a tool i am working on.

My question is, is it possible to evaluate playing_card.py
in a way, that it could create different styles of templates
for a whole cardset.

My own template looks in the moment like this.

For Tim, it's a simple task and he is happy to help people.
I provided a contact address.
It is rare here lately.
Finally, you can send a private message from this forum.
