I found this cool old script and modified it to work in Gimp 210. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=8420

No problem Pat, this one was very easy. I only needed to change one instance of "Linear" to "0" to make it work. The script is very well made in my opinion. I'll have to go in and change some defaults to something I like better.

Can't get the beautify plug-in to work.

After having seen your post I did the following:
1-downloaded the pack containing beautify
2-extracted the 64bits version (that's what I'm using)
3-placed the 4 exe files into ...Preferences/old-plug-ins (as I assume you did too, reading the error message)
4-placed the the 2 pattern folders into Preferences/patterns
Launched Samj's postable 2.10.4, open an image, found beautify under filters. launched beautify and got a windows for the options, chosen one, run. Everything OK.

Thank you so much, Diego. I must have done something wrong by installing the plug-in at first.
I removed it and installed it again by the steps you clearly explained. That was a big help for me.

Now the plug-in works
