There is no .py, there is instead an .exe instead. That means it will only work in Windows.

Hi Racer, The executable is one of the old gimp 2.8 file (Mosaic.ex). The newer Gimp version don't have, because of GELG, a procedure for this plugin in the procedure browser. I don't know if it is executable with other platform beside windows. If you still have the gimp version 2.8, just take the "Mosaic. exe" plugin and place it in your GIMP preferences directory.

There is no .py inside the ZIP.
There is the layerfx, the mosaic, the fonts, the images, the Read Me.txt, but not the Water drop Text.py.

I think there was a small lapse.

It would be nice to hear about the experience of other people who also installed the plug-in, but in my attempts it has been impossible to choose a font size other than 400.

I even change it to 250, or 150 or 100, but the size always returns to 400.

An Alpha To Logo version of this plugin would be very welcome!

Did you close GIMP and re-start it? In python if you change anything in some of the params section, you have to re-start GIMP in order to make the changes.

Yes, it is just at the end. the error says that the pattern isn't found.
Where do you say the pattern must be?

If you have the plugin "addonCollectionManager-3.0.py", place it in a designated folder in:
C:\Users\YourName or Users\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\pattern_storage.

If you don't have the plugin "addonCollectionManager-3.0.py", the just place it in your C:\Users\YourName or Users\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\patterns.

I have addonCollectionManager and I have a folder named Metal but it continues saying that the pattern is missing.
I hope that someone else tries it, too.

Issabella, the file "Metal with water drops.jpeg" is the pattern that you want to put in you "Patterns" folder. It should then work without issue.

I can run it here in Linux, but can't use the mosaic.exe for obvious reasons. The end results are different, but still interesting.

Thanks racer-x, I have checked each folder about Metal and found my mistake. For any reason the folder was empty, so it was a mistake of mine. I beg both my excuse. Everything is working great.

It works fine in Gimp 2.10.22 ... I like air bubble better.

Very nice, Pocholo! You need to change the description of the menu (it still shows the tree bark menu).

I'm guessing that font size option is limited to 400 due to how it breaks the droplets down into smaller sizes. Also smaller/more narrow font types aren't a good fit for this plugin.
