Just as the question says, I am trying to install the LiquidRescale plugin in one of the Win portable versions of Gimp 2.10.8, but not having any luck so far. I tried following a procedure I found in the archives to copy some exe files to the gimp plug in folder along with a script and dll files, but I then get an error when the portable opens (of course the procedure was for a fully Win installed Gimp and not portable, but I thought it might work anyway). I then tried to emulate the method I saw in the Appimage folders, copying over the same files into the respective Win portable folders but these were ignored (I assume because they are not exe files).

Obviously, I'm no expert at this, was just hoping to get one of the portable versions on Win that has the plug in. I did not see the plug in in any of the portables I've tried so far.

Thank you!

Go to https://samjcreations.blogspot.com/ and scroll down until you hit Windows Suite 2

and download it.

Next (and it is the same for any Gimp, any platform) look in Edit -> Preferences -> Folders -> Plug-ins for the correct location of the Gimp user profile. The portable uses Preferences

Take the 2 files gimp-lqr-plugin.exe & liblqr-1-0.dll and put them in a folder gimp-lqr-plugin (same name as the plugin without the .exe) Put that folder in the Gimp portable user plug-ins directory.

Note: It is not necessary to add paths in Gimp 2.10 Providing the folder is the same name as the plug-in putting the folder in 'plug-ins' is all that is required.

Works here:
