version 5 allows options to toggle "Scale Last Line" (for when the line has too few characters that you might not want to scale it, because it would look weird).

version 7. Irregular shape support for when you want to fit a shape even closer than manually adjusting it.

That's pretty cool, will test out though I'm not a big fan of stretched text.
But it looks okay if you don't have too big difference with the line lengths.
I guess, because of the limitations with Gimp's text tool, justification like it's done in page-layout programs would be impossible?

It would look better if your went Text->Path->Scale path->Render path (there would be no need to blow up the text first).

Also, in practical typography, you don't stretch the characters, you stretch the spaces between them. You know where you can find an example :)

My example is kind'a extreme because it only has a few words on each line.
With actual practice I think it would look better the because the lines would be be longer so the margin or difference would be smaller and I think it would look better.
Which..means I'll go and copy some sample text and see if it looks better with more text.

Here's the difference between justify filled and the script.
Mine is not as clear... I might have to look into ofnuts suggestion about the path to make it clear.
justify filled on the left, my version on the right.
If you look you can hardly tell that text is stretched...but in justify you can see some spacious areas..
If not better than at least this plug-in gives you an option other than auto justify.

Version 8 works with paths of font (scaling) instead of scaling fonts.
Much nicer.

With above example I didn't try to fit the text into the shape first so you get the squished on top and bottom because the text was originally for a rectangle. If you try to fit it yourself first it, then use plug-in to fine tune then it'd be nicer.

That looks very nice, Tin. I like the way the text fills the image. That is another habit that could get addictive!

Right now you gotta manually manipulate the text before using this plug-in. I am thinking of writing another plug-in to automate this manual process before using this plug-in.

Arranging the text with optimal font-size is now automated.

You can get the helper plug-in here -> Prepare Text Into Selection Plug-in

I tried few times long text but my piece won't prepare like yours.
Then I tried with 4 short lines of plain language in a circle pot and it worked like charm.

But I'm not happy, will test on another system.

Impressive work, Tran. Not really into text/font artwork but have appreciated other folks results over the years and your cool tools really are impressive with this type of fill. :)
