Hi,
I have some with the Gimp version 2.8
Filter used by Brian Anderson.

BA Novella
BA Edgey
BA Exaggeration V2 A
Fake Emboss Version 1A

Is it known to you whether these filters have already been adapted for Gimp version 2.10?

Best regards, Hardy

BA Novella QT works in 2.10 I tested.

The other ones need a fix. I tried but couldn't figure out what's wrong with Smooth [Bilateral] "wrong number of parametres" error,
maybe the filter has changed from the 2.0 GTK version.

hardy111, I have these working in Gimp 2.10.6
But Flamboyance doesn't give the result which was expected, at least the one I remember it was. But works and it's different from Novella.
I post the ones I have.

I "fixed" Novella, Exaggeration and Fake Emboss. At least they work on my Gimp 2.10.14 Linux, Gmic-QT 2.7.4
But I can't be totally sure the outcome is exactly same as it was with originals, because I'm not python coder.
The Fake Emboss layer above the normal is set to soft light mode.
There is no Lanczos interpolation in 2.10 I believe, thumbs up I changed the No halo correctly.
Attached if you dare to try :hehe
They are located under Filters/Artistic.

If you have the originals and 2.8 still installed. maybe you can tell if they look correct?

Going to try the Edgey, it requires some old Iccii script.

Zipped convolution presets and Edgey Black plug-in.
Works for me, but I tested so far only once, using same settings than I saw in the screenshot on the German Gimp site.
Never had these in 2.8, I like the result need to play more. Same menu entry.

Edit: One of the convolution presets, color invert gives an error. Error: set!: unbound variable: b

You're welcome Pat625. They are "quick fixed" and not behaving exactly like the originals on 2.8
The end result (top layer) is very close, but the extra layers below the top layer aren't in correct blending mode.
@hardy111, the last Novella pic is beautiful.
