An update providing more user control (dialog changes highlighted in the dialog shot below) with improved texturing - especially with the plainer styles.

Basically a tool for adding metallic effects to the characters in an existing custom font file (Gimp's equivalent to PhotoFont I believe) that you can then use to add to your artwork. Link below:

Probably best if you look for custom fonts and custom font tools on GimpLearn if you are interested
