PS. If you also want to save tracks, you must edit spyro_plus.py in line 526 (disable deletion of temporary paths).

Racer and Kimba, I like both of your images. I think they would even make nice wallpapers.

Played with this awhile today. It is like the lined paths for me. Need to know how to figure out what to do to get the outcome that you want!

MareroQ, post #6 is really nice. Do you still have the settings to get that result?

Interesting plug-in. I'll have to play with this one. Thanks MareroQ!

MareroQ, thank you for answering my request and for bringing this nice program to our attention.
I now have the image that you provided the settings for and I must ask, How did you get that beaded effect? Did you stroke it with a specific pattern? I love it!

After I made several trials just playing with the settings, I could no longer get the program to render. It would say rendering, but nothing would happen. I opened and closed it several times to no avail. I'll try it again tomorrow.

Love this MareroQ, thanks for the explanation.

I gave it a try but cannot get it right.

If I set the brush dynamics to track direction and then choose the paintbrush tool in spirogimp the brush's angle isn't changing as it moves round the pattern. I'm finding the angle is constant.

I must be missing something so would appreciate any help to make spirogimp pick up track direction like it does in post #12.

Just realized that the path stroke tool can do this as well.

Thanks racer-x,

I get the same results as you with Basic Simple but that sets the angle to random and what I really want is track direction.

Can you try Track Direction and see if the brush is all at the same angle? That would show if it's just me or not :)
