Running Ubuntu 20.04
snap GIMP 2.10.18.
Installed Logo Toolbox V2.x via Edit-Preferences-Folders-Scripts-Add directory

Logo Toolbox will launch but there is no way to scroll within the window

When I ran a non-snap GIMP 2.08 under Ubuntu 18.04, I replaced the script-fu executable with a modified version to gain scrolling abilities. In this version of GIMP script-fu seems to involve multiple files and I hesitate to start mucking around with any of them.

Is there any way to add scrolling ability to Logo Toolbox?

Hi HearTomorrow
Try this one compile for 2.10.16 from MareroQ, it work for me.
Read the instruction: You need to relace the original with this one.

I couldn't find any update of the scrolling interface passing GIMP 2.8.14. In this link the author GnuTux created the Scrolling interface for different OS. Try the one for operating system to see if that one works. He specify: "please replace the old script-fu binary in your plug-ins folder with this one". Here is the link

It is possible with a snap Gimp 2.10.18 This the 64 bit version

This a kubuntu 20.04 (VM) Use Edit -> Preferences -> Folders -> plug-ins to confirm the location of the user profile.
Unzip the attached scriptfu and put the file there. Check the file is still executable.

It does work (at least it does here)
but
The font selection suffers from the 2.10.18 bug and to change fonts click-drag from the fonts dock into the text selection box in the script.

I thought Left Mouse button + Alt key would let you drag any Gimp window anywhere you want on Ubuntu?

The script-fu plugin creates problems with other scripts (unless it was fixed?), a better alternative is use the Alt key to move the window.

While I had tried the Alt + left mouse button combination a thousand times with no success, I never thought to hit the key with the MS Windows logo right next to the Alt key. Learn something new everyday. Thank you! I actually read up on the concept of the 'super key' and Window Action after reading y'all's comments. Some day I will actually RTFM instead of just using it to troubleshoot problems. Thanks again

Not sure if it works anymore, but in 2.8 I used the 2-column hack by bytes-and-pixels.

On Ubuntu I beat the Alt key method with a font that uses low line spacing.
