Helper for creating patterns brick

This is just a simple helper to create a wall pattern - but on separate two layers ("Wall-Brick" & "Wall-Mortar") to apply separately specific own effects.
In menu Gimp: Filters/Render/Pattern/Pattern brick wall...

Hi,

When I try to change pattern I get the error below. Using Gimp 2.10.18. Any ideas why?

Thank you to everyone who tested and commented on the plugin.

@Wirra:

This is a big mistake for: Gimp-2.10.16-setup.exe, gimp-2.10.18-setup.exe , gimp-2.10.18-setup-1.exe, gimp-2.10.18-setup-2.exe for gimp.org - contains a lot of errors for scripts and plugins - discussed several times.
Possible solutions (in point 4 for Windows10 and Gimp-2.10.18_64bit)

but you may have an additional problem:
You are using Gimp-2.10.18 but your Preferences are set to Gimp-2.8 (from the bug screenshot) - more information is needed (Windows installed on disk E: ???) - if this information does not help:

This is probably one of the most realistic looking brick walls I've made. I used a custom texture I made to bump map the bricks.

I substituted my gimp exe file with the one in your link. Filter now works. Thanks for your help and filter.

Here's the texture I made. I converted it to B/W for bump mapping.

Thanks for that. I don't know if it's possible, but maybe make a brick shape like this?

I like the Herringbone pattern, it makes for nice paving stones.

Version 3: Added: create path of bricks, 2 types of brick bonds (Dutch, Checker).
