After an intense re-shuffling of the process, I'm feeling quite satisfied of the results of this Style (and Issabella too), hence I decided to release it.
The characteristics of this filter is the use of Gimp strokes.
Strokes are applied by colour area (which can be at user choice 4 to 12).
The orientations of the strokes are only 4, hence they are repeated:
- 1 to 4 repeated for areas 5 to 8 and areas 9 to 12.
Strokes are distorted to get a simulation of strokings by hand.
The slopes are between 15° and 45°.
They are good for horizontal images; for those you may also rotate by 180°.
For vertical images better to choose a rotation of 90° or 270°.
The outcome can be in colours or in grayscale.
You may choose to have a frame, with a size of 10, 15 or 20 percent of image sizes.
The frame is always coloured, for grayscale images the frame is more contrasted.
You may easily change the hue of the Frame using Gimp/Colorize.

Another user option is the choice of the influence of edges, default is 25%.
If you choose more than 50% the outcome results likely too dark.

Here the filter:

Warning:
because of the strong manipulations applied, some images may produce bad results.
Often it happens with images "apparently" nice but "technically" poor.

To complete the presentation of the filter:
just one example, same image coloured and in grayscale.

As usual, this thread if for comment and critics concerning the filter itself.
For posting examples of your tests, use the corresponding thread under Gimp Art.
