Stringy Look (following Lyle's tut, my way)

Thu Mar 25, 2021 4:58 am

For all GC-ters who -like me- appreciated the great "invention" of Lyle in creating a "stringy look" to an image, I created a filter following his tutorial plus -as usual- my bits and bytes.
There are two options when running the filter:
- having fine, medium or normal strokes "finesse"
- adding noise before applying stencil
So, the user can get six slightly different outcomes.

Here the filter:

Here one of the six possible outcomes (I will post all 6 on the related thread on Gimp Art):

I'm going to add this to GimpScripts.net, if that's ok with you.

That's OK, the filter is stable. Thanks.

I understood you do it, hence I didn't submit it.
If you prefer I can do the submission.
Today I submitted DIEGO_DECOR_ParticlesThruSphereMap.
