There is a way to edit max slider value of a gmic effect parameter ?

You can copy the filter text into a custom filter.
You will see where the sliders are. They are usually marked 'float' and it maybe possible to alter some values and test.
I don't think this method allows 2 instances of the same filter in G'MIC.
Also the filters are not individual text files but are usually bundled so you need to extract from a longer text file.
