I have downloaded the scripts and plugins from John Lakkas and they throw errors when I try to run them

I have the color wheel image in the folder with the plugin. The color grading plugin folder is here:

Most of John Lakkas scripts require Elsamuko YUV Temperature plug-in. It's written in your error pop-up.

These are all in gimpscripts:

I downloaded the Color Grading & Color Balance plug-in from sourceforge, put em in the plug-ins folder with the colorwheel image.
Working in Windows. Note that color grading plug-in is also available in GMIC.

That is a sweeping statement. What you mean is they do not work for you.

The plugin expects to find the file colorwheel_150.png in C:\Users\"yourname"\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins so copy it from your 'bespoke' folder to the regular folder. The same applies to linux gimp appimage users. Not going to work without editing the script. As a note, while it is a nice plugin you can do much the same with the regular GEGL Color Balance filter.

Those other scripts / plugins, probably a similar situation, from your screenshots elsamuko-temperature is missing. Do you have a elsamuko-temperature.exe in your C:\Users\"yourname"\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins folder If it is there, does it show in the Gimp colours menu.

I think you can get a similar effect with the regular GEGL Color-temperature filter.

When there are other files associated with a plugin (since I have a lot of py's), I create a folder for it and just give it a path in: GIMP menu: Edit>Preferences> Folder>Plugins

Which is the best way to handle those specific plugins. Since you, yourself rely on Layer Effects for many of your own plugins, I just add your .py files to a Layer Effects folder and associate it in GIMP, so I won't FORGET (I'm OLD) which plugins rely on that particular .py file.

I have the plugins folder path in gimp already, that's not the problem.

That's a weird place to put an image for a plugin to work, but I'll give it a shot
